The Lindenwood men and Campbellsville women jumped out to big leads on the way victories last weekend at the Thomas More Classic in Erlanger, Kentucky.
The event was held at Super Bowl and featured 10 varsity men's and eight varsity women's teams. All teams bowled five traditional games and 12 Baker games, with total pinfall determining the winner in each division.
On the men's side, Lindenwood posted a wire-to-wire victory, averaging nearly 220 as a team during the traditional block to build a lead of more than 540 pins. The Lions finished with a 7,987 total to take the top spot in the standings.
Pikeville averaged more than 222 in Baker competition to take second place with 7,472, while Thomas More finished third with 7,288.
Andrew Sacks averaged more than 236 to help Lindenwood to the win and earned top individual honors with a five-game total of 1,182. Midway teammates Zackery Halstead (1,155) and Austin Hensley (1,129) were next in the standings, followed by Lindenwood's Kaleb East (1,114) and Brandon Cruz (1,103).
Traditional games of 1,066 and 1,042 vaulted Campbellsville to the top of the leaderboard in the women's division, and the Tigers maintained their lead during the Baker block to collect the victory with a 7,251 total.
Pikeville finished second with 7,025, and Wright State was third with 6,935.
Northern Kentucky's Paige Stokes rolled to the top spot in the individual standings, averaging more than 232 on her way to a 1,164 total. Campbellsville's Ashley Moch (1,081) and Shelbi Morris (1,059) were second and third, respectively, while Wright State's Madison Stiffler (1,044) and Pikeville's Stephanie Crider (1,026) also finished in the top five.

- At the Prairie View A&M Invitational in Dallas, the McKendree women swept Arkansas State in the championship round, 4-0, to successfully defend the title.
- At the Bronco Open in Hastings, Nebraska, the Ottawa-Kansas men and Midland women each recorded narrow victories, winning by less than 15 pins.
- At the Bronco Bash in Hastings, Nebraska, the Grand View women found redemption after a second-place finish at the Bronco Open, while the Midland men posted a big win.
- At the CSU Lady Eagles Invitational in Baltimore, the Delaware State women led the way in total pinfall.
- At the NY Metro Tournament in Lodi, New Jersey, the Chestnut Hill women finished at the top of the standings.
- At the Ohio Bowling Conference I in Columbus, Ohio, the Northwestern Ohio men won by more than 330 pins, while Northern Kentucky claimed the top spot in the women's division.
- At the Warhawk Classic in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, the Maryville women cruised to victory.
- At the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) 2 in Sterling Heights, Michigan, the Lawrence Tech men and women rolled to big wins.
- At the WHAC 2B in Jackson, Michigan, the Indiana Tech women and men swept the top spots.
