The Robert Morris-Illinois men's and women's teams wrapped up 2013 by sweeping the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic and Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic in Allentown, Pa., from Dec. 27-30.

At the Keystone Quaker Classic, the Robert Morris men squeaked past Notre Dame College to capture the top spot, finishing with a 9,561 winning total. Notre Dame ended up 35 pins behind with 9,526, and Morehead State took third with 9,158.

On the women's side, Robert Morris found itself down to Notre Dame after five traditional games, but roared back in Baker competition to coast to the title with 8,906. Notre Dame finished in second with 8,610, while third place went to Wright State (8,367).

Mark Scuderi of Rochester Technical Institute took home the top men's individual honors, finishing his five-game block with 1,193 (238.6 average). Ryan Zagar of Robert Morris was second with 1,180, while Wisconsin-Whitewater's Nick Kruml (1,163), William Paterson's Andrew Suscreba (1,150) and Notre Dame's Jamie Robinson (1,117) rounded out the top five.

Lori Hanken of Robert Morris easily paced the field for the women as she posted a five-game total of 1,123 (224.6 average). Rachael Ritzinger of Notre Dame took second with 1,048 and Florida State's Lauren Booke finished third with 1,046. Ritzinger's teammates, Jerracah Heibel (1,021) and Brittany Ferrara (1,006), took fourth and fifth, respectively.

The Robert Morris women continued their winning ways at the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic by capturing the title in dominating fashion with a final tally of 8,694. Wright State came in second at 8,324, and Notre Dame took third with 8,215.

On the men's side, Robert Morris once again found themselves ahead of Notre Dame in the standings as they took home the title with 9,641. Notre Dame (9,509) captured second and Saginaw Valley State (9,322) took third.

Only two bowler's surpassed the 1,000 mark on the women's side, with Leea Haworth of Robert Morris leading the way with 1,046 (209.2 average). Notre Dame's Ferrara captured her second top-five finish for the week with 1,003. Lawrence Tech's Bridget Moricz (997), Hudson Valley's Mory Passineau (995) and Samantha Kelly of Robert Morris (989) also earned spots in the top five.

Matt Gasn of Robert Morris put on a show at the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic, firing games of 264, 238, 195, 257 and 300 for a five-game total 1,254 (250.8 average) to pace the men's field. Notre Dame teammates Martez Walker (1,175) and Chris Via (1,162) were next in the standings, and were followed by Tylor Greene of Robert Morris (1,161) and Jakob Butturff of Arizona State (1,143) to wrap up the top five.

In other USBC Collegiate action:

- At the WHAC Warrior Classic Jamboree #4 in Fort Wayne, Ind., the Davenport women ran away with the title, while in a three-team race on the men's side, Lawrence Tech outlasted Davenport and Northwestern Ohio.
