The 2025-2026 United States Bowling Congress Collegiate regular season is about halfway complete after 11 events last weekend, including the Titan Invitational in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Twelve men’s varsity teams and eight women’s varsity teams bowled five individual games and 16 Baker games, with total pinfall determining the champions.

The men’s side saw Viterbo get off to a fast start with a high team total of 4,964 and post the highest Baker total, 3,078, to win the event by over 500 pins. Viterbo’s Lucas Casanta led all men with a five-game total of 1,064, while teammate Brayton Fandrich tied for third with Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s Andrew Plotz at 1,017. Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Ben Moczynski placed second with 1,030 while Iowa’s Gage Knutson rounded out the top five with 1,002.

On the women’s side, Wisconsin-Madison led by just 68 pins over Viterbo, 4,122-4,054, heading into the Baker games. Viterbo took the lead during Baker games, but Wisconsin-Madison regained the top spot and clinched it in the final game to win the event by 55 pins.

Stephanie Lo of Wisconsin-Madison led all women with 993, while Rockford’s Ashly Harkey placed second with 900. Viterbo teammates Emily Newbauer and Theadosia Laffin were third and fourth with 893 and 889, respectively. Wisconsin-Oshkosh’s Ashley Kozel closed out the top five with 880.

In other collegiate action:

- At the third American Heartland Bowling Association (AHBA) event in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the Indiana Tech men and women swept the event.

- At the first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Round Robin event in Erie, Pennsylvania, the Saint Vincent women went 5-1 in matches to hold the conference lead. The second AMCC Round Robin event is scheduled for February.

- At the Bearcat Invitational in Fairview Heights, Illinois, the Valparaiso women defeated Maryville in seven games for the event win.

- At the Boilermaker Classic in Lafayette, Indiana, the Purdue men claimed a narrow win while the Judson women won in decisive fashion. The following day at the Boilermaker Baker Shootout, the Trine men won while the Judson women completed a weekend sweep.

- At the second Mid Iowa Bowling Conference (MIBC) event in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the Coe men and women swept the event.

- The first two National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Bowling Coaches’ Association (NAIABCA) Invitational events were contested in Topeka, Kansas, with the Mount Mercy men and Savannah College of Art and Design-Savannah women taking the first event before the SCAD-Savannah men and women swept the second.

- At the second Ohio Bowling Conference (OBC) event in Columbus, Ohio, the Muskingum men and Northwestern Ohio women claimed conference victories.

- At the Coppin State Lady Eagles Invitational in Woodlawn, Maryland, the Mount St. Mary’s women clinched their first win of the season.

Next weekend, 11 events are scheduled, including the Tier 1 McKendree Match Games, before Thanksgiving break.
