Done Deal: Bowlmor AMF Completes Brunswick Center Acquisition

It's a done deal.

On July 17, Bowlmor AMF announced its intent to acquire the 85 Brunswick-owned bowling centers in North America. Last week, that deal was completed.

NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bowlmor AMF announced today that it has formally completed its acquisition of Brunswick Corporation's bowling center, further solidifying Bowlmor AMF's position as the world's largest bowling center operator.

Bowlmor AMF announced on July 17 its intent to purchase Brunswick's bowling center business, which is comprised of 85 centers in the United States and Canada, operating under the Brunswick Bowling, Brunswick Zone, Brunswick Zone XL and Brunswick's brands.  With the completion of the acquisition, Bowlmor AMF now has more than 340 locations, 9,000 employees and annual revenue of approximately $600 million.
