Eight athletes selected to represent Senior Team USA at 2025 IBF World Seniors Championships

ARLINGTON, Texas – Eight highly accomplished bowlers have been chosen by the National Selection Committee to represent Senior Team USA on the lanes at the 2025 International Bowling Federation World Seniors Championships, which will take place at the famed National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nevada, from Oct. 14-23.

Chris Barnes of Denton, Texas; Parker Bohn III of Jackson, New Jersey; Tom Hess of Granger, Iowa; and John Janawicz of Winter Haven, Florida, will make up the men’s team while Dana Ausec of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Lynda Barnes of Denton, Texas; Rina Sabo of Bennett, Colorado; and Jodi Woessner of Oregon, Ohio, comprise the women’s squad.

The octet has combined to win 118 international medals throughout their illustrious careers, and five of the eight – Chris Barnes, Lynda Barnes, Bohn, Janawicz and Woessner – are United States Bowling Congress Hall of Famers.

Senior Team USA is scheduled to arrive at the 2025 IBF World Seniors Championships on Oct. 14. Unofficial practice sessions will take place on Oct. 15 with official practice and the tournament’s opening ceremony following on Oct. 16.

Competition will get underway on Oct. 17 with the opening rounds of Men’s and Women’s Singles.

Singles play will conclude and medals will be awarded on the morning of Oct. 18. Later that day, the first round of Men’s and Women’s Doubles will commence.

The remainder of the doubles event will take place on Oct. 19 and will see medals conferred at day’s end.

All rounds of Men’s and Women’s Team competition will occur on Oct. 20.

The first two rounds of the Men’s and Women’s Masters events will take place on Oct. 21 with the remainder occurring on Oct. 22, which will be the final day of competition at this year’s tournament.

The Victory Banquet will officially bring the 2025 IBF World Seniors Championships to a close on the evening of Oct. 22.
