Eight athletes set to represent Team USA at 2026 IBF World Cup in Germany

ARLINGTON, Texas – Eight of America’s top bowlers have been chosen by the National Selection Committee to compete for Team USA at the 2026 International Bowling Federation World Cup, which will run from Oct. 12-21 at Max Munich Bowling – Brunnthal in Munich, Germany.
The U.S. contingent will feature four men and four women with Andrew Anderson of Chesterfield, Michigan; Ryan Barnes of Denton, Texas; Packy Hanrahan of Wichita, Kansas; and Chris Via of Blacklick, Ohio; suiting up for men’s competition, while Gianna Brandolino of Channahon, Illinois; Jillian Martin of Stow, Ohio; Shannon Pluhowsky of Dayton, Ohio; and Jordan Snodgrass of Adrian, Michigan; don the red, white and blue for the women.
The octet has combined to secure nearly 140 international medals – 73 of them gold – during their time bowling for Team USA and Junior Team USA.
Teams are set to arrive at the 2026 IBF World Cup from Oct. 10-12 with the event’s managers’ meeting taking place on the last day of that window.
Official practice sessions and the tournament’s opening ceremony will occur on Oct. 13 with two days of Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles following on Oct. 14 and 15.
Men’s Singles Round of 32 action and the Women’s Singles Round of 16 will be contested on Oct. 16 with the final three rounds and medal ceremonies in each division taking place the following day on Oct. 17.
Team competition in both the men’s and women’s divisions will run from Oct. 18-21. Qualifying will take place on Oct. 18 and 19, top-16 action will commence on Oct. 20 and the quarterfinal, semifinal and final rounds will play out on Oct. 21, after which the medal ceremonies and Victory Banquet will bring the 2026 IBF World Cup to a close.
Delegations are scheduled to leave Munich on Oct. 22.
