Eight Junior Gold bowlers receive Dahms Sportsmanship Award
ARLINGTON, Texas – Eight bowlers who participated in the 2019 Junior Gold Championships presented by the Brands of Ebonite International have been selected to receive the David Dahms Sportsmanship Award.
The award winners were determined by the International Bowling Campus Youth Committee based on nominations received from competitors during the Junior Gold Championships held in the Detroit area this past summer.
The David Dahms Sportsmanship Award is given to competitors who best exemplify sportsmanship, leadership, positive attitude and enthusiasm during the Junior Gold Championships and is awarded to one male and one female participant in each division.
Each U12 award winner receives a 50-point scholarship while the U15, U17 and U20 recipients each receive a 100-point scholarship. The 2019 winners:
12 and under division

15 and under division
- Seth Colling, Chattanooga, Tenn.
- Mya Williams, Brighton, Colo.
17 and under division
- Ryan Toffoli, Miami
- Taylor McBride, White Lake, Mich.
20 and under division
- Dalton Kilner, Louisville, Ky.
- Kiara Abanto, Rock Hill, S.C.
The award is named for David Dahms, who was instrumental in the development and launch of the Junior Gold program.
