Julia Tucker (left), 6, of Marietta, Ohio, bowled her high game of 169 during the Bowlers of Tomorrow USBC Youth League at North Hills Lanes on March 10, 2012.

Elizabeth Martin, 14, Wickliffe, Ohio, bowled a four-game series of 894 at Wickliffe Lanes. Her games were 235, 203, 210 and 246.

Ciara Lovell (right), 18, of Bluffton, Ind., carried an average of a 148 in her youth league. This year, she has had a high game of a 253 and a high series of a 601 (178, 212, 211). With that series, she qualified second in her division in a TKO match in Richmond, Ind. She bowled against two other boys and ended up placing first on April 22, 2012.

Gabe Clow (left), 12 , of Merrifield Minn., bowled a 216, his first 200 game, at Jacks House in Brainerd, Minn., during roll-offs in his Junior Prep league, earning him a 75 Pins Over Average patch.

Josh McCart (right), 14, of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., bowled his highest game and highest series with game of 226, 287 and 252 for a 765 on March 10, 2012, at Barbecue Recreation in the Junior-Senior League. Josh is an eighth grader at Hoosick Falls Central School and had just completed his second year on the varsity bowling team. His average is 205, and he has been bowling since he was 5.

Tyler Whittle (left), 16, of Chesapeake, Va., bowled his first 300 game on April 21, 2012 at AMF Chesapeake Lanes. His series for the day was 766 (233, 300, 233). He had the high handicap and high scratch game and series for the season.

Donovan Grubaugh, 12, of Salem, Ore., won the “A” Division (156-179) at the Interstate Lanes Classic in April. He had a 678 series in qualifying, and then won five of his six matches to win the title and a $120 scholarship.

Jack Henry Baggs (right), 12, Fort Myers, Fla., bowled his personal best game of 299 and his high series of 790 on Jan. 28, 2012.

Alexandra Ross (left), 13, of Greenwood, Ind., bowled a 605 series (196, 152, 257) in May to win the Indiana Regional Tournament for 7th Grade Girls Middle School. The following week at the state tournament, she bowled a 590 series (208, 212, 170) to become the Indiana State 7th Grade Girls Middle School Champion and added $100 to her scholarship fund.

Daniel Costantino (right), 13, of Staten Island, N.Y. shot his personal best on May 19, 2012, rolling a 696 series with games of 233, 196 and 267 in the Rab’s Junior Scholarships Doubles League at Rab’s Country Lanes.

Paul J. “PJ” Tantillo (left), 14, of Belleview, Fla., bowled his first 300 game during the Team Event at the Florida State USBC Youth Tournament held at Sunshine Lanes in DeLand, Fla., on June 3, 2012.  He also had his high series of 663.

Terron Robey, 16, of Verona, Wis., bowled a 748 series on June 6, 2012, at Ten Pin Alley in Fitchburg, Wis. He had games of 224, 258, and 266.

Kara Mangiola (right), 16, of Rochester, N.Y., bowled her first 300 game on Jan. 7, 2012, and eight days later shot an 816 in a Junior Bowlers Tour event.

Tyler Salverda, 19, of Walnut, Calif., converted the big four during the Junior World Team Challenge competition in Las Vegas on June 23, 2012.  His team finished in third place in the limited division. Tyler bowls at Oak Tree Lanes in Diamond Bar, Calif.

Jonathan Lovett (left), 13, of Columbia, S.C., shot his first 700 series at Century Lanes in Fort Jackson, S.C., during travel league. He had game of 254, 235 and 215 for a 704 series. In June, he had a 299 game during a youth scholarship tournament at Royal Z Lanes in Columbia, S.C.

Sarah Rivich, 5, of Houston, bowled her first 100 game (101) and had her high series of 252 during her first state tournament, held in San Antonio, Texas, on June 22, 2012.  She bowls in the Saturday morning Kids Klassic League at Copperfield Bowl in Houston. Her brother, Michael Rivich, 8, had his first 200 game and 500 series (210, 519) during league play on June 16, and followed the next week at state tournament with a 207 game and 518 series.

Jester Silverio (left), 10, Anchorage, Alaska, bowled his first 500 series, a 519 with games of 213, 149 and 157, to finish second in Division 2 at the city tournament. He also finished first in doubles at the 2011-12 Alaska State Tournament at North Bowl Wasilla.
