Junior Gold Championships sites swapped for 2016, 2017
The Junior Gold Championships presented by Storm, Roto Grip and Master will move to Indianapolis in 2016, and the 2017 tournament will be held in Cleveland.
Sites for the Junior Gold Championships previously were announced, but with Cleveland playing host to a major national convention in the summer of 2016, concerns were raised about the availability and cost of hotel rooms for Junior Gold competitors. Those concerns necessitated swapping the Junior Gold Championships host city sites for 2016 and 2017.
“We appreciate that the host cities and centers were agreeable to the change,” said USBC Executive Director Chad Murphy. “Junior Gold continues to grow each year and we want to make certain we have appropriate accommodations available for the competitors and their families.”
