Marshall Kent, Yakima, Washington, has been chosen as the December 2014 Kegel Bowler of the Month by the International Bowling Media Association.

Kent defeated Martin Larsen of Sweden, 257-206, for the Masters division title in the 8th Kingdom International Open, also his first Professional Bowlers Association title.

The four-man bracket finals started with the top-seeded Kent ousting third-seeded Mike Fagan, 243-237. The second-seeded Larsen got past Kuwait's Khaled Al Dubyyan, 224-174, to set up the championship match.

Kent also picked up a medal at the 2014 Men's World Bowling Championships with Team USA. He was part of the silver-medal winning trios with Mike Fagan and Sean Rash, behind gold medalists Frederik Øhrgaard, Carsten Warming Hansen, and Thomas Larsen, Denmark

Kent, at a very early point in his career, has now claimed his fourth Kegel Bowler of the Month award. His previous awards were in July 2010, July 2012, and September 2012.
