Live streaming returns to 2011 OC

RENO, Nev. - The 2011 USBC Open Championships is set to begin March 4, and bowling fans again will have the chance to enjoy a busy schedule of live streaming events from the National Bowling Stadium.

Live streaming became a part of the USBC Open Championships coverage in 2010 and provided a number of memorable moments from the Stadium's 78 championship lanes.

Broadcasts from this year's 122-day tournament can be viewed on BOWL.com and will feature both team and doubles/singles competition. They will include the biggest stars from the Open Championships and some of the most recognizable names from across the sport.

The first broadcast of the 2011 event will be on March 5 at 11:30 p.m. Eastern/8:30 p.m. Pacific and feature two talented teams from Georgia. The group has had regular opening-weekend success at the Open Championships and now includes Brian Weeks of Lawrenceville, Ga., who rolled one of 12 perfect games at the 2005 tournament in Baton Rouge, La.

Later broadcasts will include Team USA member Shannon O'Keefe, defending Regular All-Events champion Matt McNiel, 2011 USBC Masters champion Tom Hess, recently-elected USBC Hall of Famer Jeff Richgels and many more.
