Low added to Junior Team USA roster for 2018

ARLINGTON, Texas - Wesley Low Jr. of Palmdale, California, has been added to the Junior Team USA roster for 2018.

Due to an administrative error at the United States Bowling Congress, Low, who was suspended for the 2017 season, now will join Junior Team USA based on his performance during the 2017 Junior Gold Championships.

The 20-year-old recently became the first bowler to win the under-20 boys title at Junior Gold for a second time (2013, 2017), and he'll make his fifth appearance on Junior Team USA.

Low, a student-athlete at Wichita State University, has won more than two dozen medals in international competition, including five gold medals in World Bowling Youth Championships competition.

Low will join Jeffery Mann, West Lafayette, Indiana; Kristopher Yadao, Pearl City, Hawaii; Pete Vergos, Apopka, Florida; Ryan Winters, Livonia, Michigan; Michael Martell, Brooklyn, New York; and David Hooper, Greenville, South Carolina, who qualified for Junior Team USA 2018 during the 2017 Junior Gold Championships in the Cleveland area.

A minimum of four additional boys will qualify for the team during the 2018 USBC Team USA Trials in Las Vegas.
