Verifying USBC membership for certified leagues
Per USBC rules, all members competing in a certified league must purchase USBC membership as well as pay the applicable state and local dues.

USBC needs local and state associations to help verify all league members within their association have a current membership. A few associations across the country have run reports in WinLABs and compared them to the league roster sheets. On average, there have been approximately two bowlers per league that have no membership.

Associations should begin adding this to their list of duties after their leagues have been processed. By running this process a couple of times per year, it can add income to the association’s finances as well as increase their membership numbers.

USBC Rulebooks in summer supply orders
The USBC Playing Rules and Commonly Asked Questions will be shipped with all upcoming summer supply orders. The 2012-13 edition features all of the Commonly Asked Questions, giving you one source for reference for all of your rule questions.
