Nutrition tips for advanced bowlers

It's very difficult to bowl well when you aren't feeling well; therefore, it is very important that you figure out what it takes to keep yourself feeling good when you hit the lanes. But how do you do that?

The best way is to start experimenting with different foods and drinks prior to practice and competition. Keep track of what you're eating and drinking, and jot down a note or two about how each combination affects you. Obviously, continue using the combinations that leave you feeling strong, healthy and energized, and dump any that have the opposite effect.

As a helpful hint, right away, try cutting back on soft drinks and drink more water. Also, drink sports drinks only during training or competition, not as everyday beverages - these drinks add calories to your diet!
