ARLINGTON, Texas -
After 16 of 32 games, Bill O'Neill leads a field of 11 Team USA members competing in the Pan American Games Trials at the International training and Research Center.

Powered by a 300 game, O'Neill fired 3,867, an average of 241.68, to top the field on Tuesday. Chris Barnes is second with 3,673.

The 11 Team USA men's players are competing in four eight-game blocks over two days with the final two blocks starting Wednesday at 10 p.m. Eastern live on BOWL.com. Total pinfall will determine finishing position, which will assign points to each player that makes up 60 percent of the Pan American Game Trials. The other 40 percent of the equation is based on how each player finished at the United States Bowling Congress Masters and the Lumber Liquidators U.S. Open this year.

The top two players in the points list will advance to represent the United States in Guadalajara, Mexico, in October at the Pan American Games. If the standings were to remain the same after 32 games, O'Neill and Barnes would be the two players who advance.
