On the Lanes with Gary Daroszewski

In the coming months, we'll talk with some of the best-known bowlers at the USBC Open Championships and get their thoughts on their time at the tournament and what it takes to succeed on the championship lanes.

This week, we heard from six-time champion Gary Daroszewski, a member of the Linds Limited team that won Regular Team and Team All-Events at the 2009 tournament in Las Vegas.

The 51-year-old right-hander is one of 13 bowlers in Open Championships history with six or more titles. In 31 years on the tournament lanes, he has maintained a 208.4 average and entered this year just outside of the top 25 on the lifetime average list.

Last year, he posted a 2,080 all-events score to help Linds Limited to its two victories. Including 2010, the team has collected 20 titles in 146 years of tournament experience.
