On the Lanes with Jodi Woessner

In the coming months, we'll talk with some of the best-known bowlers at the USBC Open Championships and get their thoughts on their time at the tournament and what it takes to succeed on the championship lanes.

This week, we heard from Professional Bowlers Association Women's Series titlist, Jodi Woessner, who will take to the lanes on June 25 and 26. Woessner claimed the 2008 Lumber Liquidators Shark Championship Women's Series event and also is one of six women to win a PBA regional title.

She made history at the USBC Women's Championships in El Paso, Texas, in April as she set the all-events record (2,330) and tied Michelle Feldman for the highest individual series in the 91 years of Women's Championships competition (816).

Woesnner currently is leading the scratch and Diamond Division All-Events and finds herself less than two weeks away from claiming her first Women's Championships titles.

In four previous Open Championships appearances, Woessner has maintained a 200.6 average.
