Elmwood Park, N.J. – Joe Paluszek of Bensalem, Pa., defeated Stephen Dieter of Bowmansville, Pa., 286-208, to win the Professional Bowlers Association East Region Parkway Lanes at Parkway Lanes Sunday.

The win was Paluszek’s 2nd career regional title, his first in five years. Paluszek earned $2,500 for the win while Dieter earned $1,300 as the runner-up.

Paluszek defeated Jim Tomek Jr. of Camp Hill, Pa., 221-178, and Dieter defeated Ray Edwards of Middle Island, N.Y., 219-214, in the semifinal round.

Tomek and Edwards each earned $925 as semifinal round losers.
