PBA Stars in Hunt for Title in Bahrain

DaughertyTom Daugherty made a big statement in Squad D at the 13th Kingdom International Open, A PBA International-World Bowling Tour event underway in Sitra, Bahrain, to claim second place on the leader board Wednesday. He trails Wichita State alumnus Tannya Roumimper, who is making quite a statement on this Mid-East swing after having won last week's H.H. Emir Cup title in Qatar and now leading this week in Bahrain.

Daugherty averaged 231 with a six-game pinfall of 1386, while Roumimper, who has bowled a full 12 games to this point in the tournament, is averaging 235 to lead the pack with a total pinfall of 2826. Other PBA stars in the hunt include Marshall Kent, who sits in 4th, Ryan Ciminelli in 5th, Mika Koivuniemi in 8th, Mike Fagan in 12th,  and Jason Belmonte in 15th.
