Regional Showdown set to conclude 2025 PWBA season
December 03, 2025
SANFORD, Fla. – The 10th season since the relaunch of the Professional Women’s Bowling Association will close this week with the PWBA Regional Showdown at Airport Lanes in Sanford, Florida.
Bowlers will be competing not only for a title and a cash prize, but also to have their 2026 PWBA National Tour entry fees (not including the SABC Mixed Doubles event) covered for all events the champion chooses to bowl, which is a savings of up to $4,700.
Last year’s Regional Showdown winner, Kaitlyn Stull of Raleigh, North Carolina, competed in five National Tour stops during the 2025 PWBA Tour season. Stull defeated then three-time regional winner Karsyn Lukosius of Jackson, New Jersey, in the Showdown’s title match.
Players who won regionals during the 2025 season are automatically seeded into match play for the Showdown, where they are guaranteed to cash.
Lukosius won a fourth regional in 2025 (PWBA Eastern Pennsylvania Regional) and is one of nine Regional Tour champions eligible to advance directly to match play. The other eight are as follows:
Allen will not be bowling the Regional Showdown, opening up an additional spot through qualifying where 10 players will advance to match play to fill the field.
Three eight-game match-play rounds will take place Friday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. Eastern and Saturday, Dec. 6, at 9 a.m. Eastern and 2 p.m. Eastern. The top four after match play move on to the stepladder finals Saturday at 7 p.m. Eastern. The tournament will be live streamed from start to finish on BowlTV.
