Registration for 2021 USBC Women’s Championships opens July 6

ARLINGTON, Texas – Registration for the 2021 United States Bowling Congress Women’s Championships in Addison, Illinois, will begin July 6 at noon Eastern.

The event heads to the Chicagoland area with Stardust Bowl serving as tournament host from April 18 through July 4. July 3 will be the final day of team competition.

Team events will take place at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., with doubles and singles squads at 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. The 11 a.m. squads will be combined, featuring both team and doubles and singles competition.

Starting May 22, weekend dates also will feature squads at 5:30 p.m. A team event will be held each Saturday, with a doubles and singles squad on Sunday.

The squad times and capacities currently are structured to accommodate for social distancing.

USBC will provide pre-registration to Captain’s Club members – coordinators with five or more teams – starting June 8, asking them to submit a form with the dates their teams want to compete, which will be processed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the program.

The 78-day tournament is one of several events scheduled for the area and 84-lane center in 2021.

The Intercollegiate Team and Singles Championships will take place just before the start of the 2021 USBC Women’s Championships, running from April 12-17. The USBC Queens, a major event on the Professional Women’s Bowling Association (PWBA) Tour schedule, will take over Stardust Bowl from May 12-18.

The 2021 USBC Convention and Annual Meeting also will be in the Chicagoland area, taking place at Westin Lombard Yorktown Center in Lombard, Illinois, from April 26-29.

For bowlers who want to take part in the 2020 Women’s Championships at the South Point Bowling Plaza in Las Vegas, registration is ongoing. The tournament is scheduled from Sept. 19 through Nov. 1 with Oct. 31 as the last day of team competition.
