ARLINGTON, Texas – Registration now is open for the 2014 USBC Masters, which will be held Feb. 16-23 at Brunswick Zone Carolier in North Brunswick, N.J.
Bowlers can enter quickly and easily online, or by mail for an additional fee. The entry fee is $450 until Jan. 10 and then $500 until Feb. 14. Entries also will be accepted on-site Feb. 15-16 for $550.
Last year’s event was a sellout, and the field again will be capped at 468 entries. Entering early is recommended.
The 2014 USBC Masters will feature a top prize of $50,000 and a total estimated prize fund of $300,000.
Traditionally, the Masters attracts hundreds of the best male and female USBC members from around the world, including defending champion Jason Belmonte of Australia, one of the world’s premier two-handed players.
The event’s rich history dates to 1951 and features 15 games of qualifying over three days, before the top 63 competitors join the defending champion in the unique double-elimination match-play bracket.
