After 29 national titles, a U.S. Women's Open championship and a Bowler of the Decade award for the 1980s, Lisa Wagner had one last pinnacle to reach in 1996: her first USBC Queens title. She faced a formidable foe in Tammy Boomershine (then Turner), then a rising star in women's bowling who would go on to win the 2009 U.S. Women's Open.
