ARLINGTON, Texas – Six stellar female athletes are prepared to represent Team USA at the 2026 PANAM Bowling VI Pan American Women’s Adult Championship, which starts Monday and runs through Oct. 3 at the Bowling Industry bowling center in Bogota, Colombia.

The women donning the red, white and blue in Bogota are Katelyn Abigania of San Diego; Julia Bond of Lincoln, Nebraska; Breanna Clemmer of Pikeville, Kentucky; Annalise OBryant of Ball Ground, Georgia; Elizabeth Teuber of Holly, Michigan; and Maggie Thoma of New Braunfels, Texas.

The squad has combined to win nearly 70 international medals – 40 of them gold – during their time representing Team USA and Junior Team USA.

The American contingent is scheduled to arrive on Saturday with the event’s official practice sessions taking place on Sunday and Monday.

Singles competition will officially get the tournament underway on Monday night and then wrap up on Tuesday. Doubles will begin later in the day on Tuesday and conclude the following day before Trios competition occupies the schedule on Oct. 1. Team play will bring the 2026 Pan American Women’s Adult Championship to a close on Oct. 2 before teams depart on Oct. 3.

While Bond and Clemmer have bowled internationally for Team USA on multiple occasions, the other four American women will be making their adult team debuts in Bogota.

Despite being just 30 years old, Bond is the elder stateswoman of the group, and she hopes to lead the American charge to the podium.

“I hope everyone in the group has a moment where they feel like they’re on top of the world,” Bond said. “Everyone’s put in their all to get to this point, so, regardless of outcome, I would love to see every single one of us have a moment where we’re bowling free and having fun.

“My goals and expectations are very similar. I would like us to go out there and make calm and educated decisions, learn from any mistakes, minimize errors and put out a dominant performance.” 

Clemmer is equally focused on helping Team USA put its best foot forward on the lanes; nevertheless, she has a few goals that go beyond just strikes and spares.

“My goals are not only to win gold, but also to be able to get to know my teammates on a different level,” Clemmer said. “A lot of the women haven’t competed for adult Team USA before, so I’m excited to be a part of their first time putting on their shoes as adult team members.” 

Abigania has enjoyed a highly decorated Junior Team USA career, collecting five gold medals in international competition during her four-year stint on the team; nevertheless, she is anxious to represent the adult team for the first time.

“I am so excited and humbled to be selected to compete for my first adult Team USA event,” Abigania said. “This is a dream come true, and I have been working really hard for this.

“I want to represent the red, white and blue in the best way I can. That includes competing well and winning medals but also celebrating the sport of bowling and having that camaraderie with my teammates and other countries.”

OBryant was just as thrilled to have been selected to compete in Colombia.

“Getting the call that I was selected for my first adult Team USA event was amazing and a dream come true,” OBryant said. “I was extremely excited as it’s a huge honor and blessing to represent our country surrounded by some of the best in the world.”

Teuber, on the other hand, was just looking forward to a change in scenery.

“Off the lanes, I am most looking forward to the fall weather because, apparently, that’s not a thing in the United States,” Teuber said.

But while she was willing to offer up a joke in the days leading up to competition, once the lights come on at the Bowling Industry bowling center, Teuber will be all business.

“I hope to be extremely competitive,” Teuber said. “The goal is to advance in each event and give myself and the other girls the best chance at bringing back some medals.”  

Despite having been on the Junior Team USA roster in 2023, Thoma has yet to represent her country during international competition. As such, although she will be eyeing the podium just as intently as her teammates, her primary focus in Bogota will be on making the most of her red, white and blue debut.

“I’m looking forward to traveling with all of the girls and experience bowling on an international level for the first time,” Thoma said. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to have.”
