Stoney Baker of Canton , Ga., defeated Wayne Bolin of Lumberton, N.C., 257-177, to win the inaugural PBA50 Station 300 Coastal Classic at Station 300 Sunday.

Baker posted a 6-4 match play record, including a 300 in game eight, to qualify third for the stepladder finals. He defeated Gary Morgan of Atlanta, Ga., in the first match, 212-196, and then advanced to the title match by defeating Todd Haney of Boiling Springs, S.C., 225-178, in the semifinal round. Baker earned $1,800 along with his 24th overall PBA Regional title. Bolin earned $1,000 for second place.

The South Region’s next tournament will be the PBA Lightning Lanes Challenge in Marion, N.C., on May 15-17.
