Storm Products President, Dave Symes, has announced the promotion of Hank Boomershine to Vice President of North American Sales, Research and Development. He will be responsible for the guidance of the North American sales team, creating personalized solutions to customer needs, and leading the direction of the R&D and Education teams.

Boomershine has been accountable for a variety of responsibilities at Storm Products since 2000, most recently serving as V.P. of Sales and Marketing.

With more than two decades of experience, Boomershine is a well-known figure in the industry. He began working at Storm Products as a tour representative for the PBA and PWBA, and also oversaw all amateur staff players.

He was quickly promoted to the role of Brand Manager for Roto Grip and Dyno-Thane at the company’s headquarters in Brigham City, Utah. In 2007, Boomershine transitioned to V.P. of Sales and Marketing, where he has been responsible for facilitating long-term business relationships with customers and managing eight regional sales managers. He also has played an influential role in the development of many of Storm’s bowling ball weight block designs.

“Hank’s outstanding knowledge of product development and coaching is a valued resource at Storm,” said Symes. “With his exceptional understanding of ball motion and experience coaching around the world, he is an ideal candidate to lead these programs.”

As a United States Bowling Congress Gold Certified Coach, educating the sport has always been a passion for Boomershine. He has been responsible for leading coaching clinics and seminars domestically and internationally. In addition to teaching education strategies, he also serves as one of the technical coaches for the Korean national team and coaches players of all levels at Storm Headquarters.

“My passion is bowling, and having the ability to help lead the sales efforts throughout North America as well as to continue to assist in the development of our great products is an honor,” Boomershine said.
