ARLINGTON, Texas – The Team USA program is accepting resumes for para bowlers interested in representing the red, white and blue at the 2025 International Bowling Federation Para Bowling World Championships in January.

The event will be heading to Hong Kong in 2025, with the IBF Para Bowling World Championships scheduled to take place from Jan. 17-24 after the conclusion of the 2025 IBF World Cup, which will be contested from Jan. 5-14.

Both events will be held at Kai Tak Sports Park – Kowloon’s Top Bowl.

Team members for the Para Bowling World Championships will be selected by the National Selection Committee from the submitted applications, which will be accepted through Sept. 30.

The committee is planning to select up to three men and three women to compete in Hong Kong. All competitors must qualify within the TPB8, TPB9 or TPB10 classifications.

According to IBF, TPB8 wheelchair athletes must play the sport in a wheelchair and are not allowed to stand up while throwing the ball. TPB9 athletes are without a lower limb, and TPB10 are without an upper limb. All athletes would bowl from a wheelchair.

Those selected to compete will receive a paid entry into the events, airfare, lodging and official uniforms.
