Team USA women to go for 2019 World Women's Championships gold live on CBS Sports Network

LAS VEGAS - The Team USA women will be featured on CBS Sports Network when they bowl in the singles and team semifinals this week at the 2019 World Bowling Women's Championships.

Team USA's Shannon O'Keefe and Danielle McEwan qualified for the singles medal round, which will take place Thursday starting at 3 p.m. Eastern, and they'll be joined by Stefanie Johnson, Liz Kuhlkin, Missy Parkin and Jordan Richard for the team medal round on Friday, also starting at 3 p.m. Eastern.

After six games of singles qualifying earlier this week, O'Keefe and McEwan earned the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, respectively, for the medal round, which means they'll compete in opposite semifinals.

O'Keefe will face No. 2 Sandra Andersson of Sweden, and McEwan will meet top seed Lee Nayoung of Korea. The winners then will bowl for the gold medal, and each semifinal loser will earn a bronze medal.

In the team event, the United States outdistanced the field by nearly 400 pins to take the top seed for the semifinals, setting up a showdown with No. 4 Colombia. The other semifinal will feature Mexico and Sweden.
