KyleTroupSumMilton, Fla. –
Kyle Troup of Taylorsville N.C. went 9-3 in match play and finished with a 20-game total of 4,374 pins to win the $1,900 first prize in the Professional Bowlers Association South Region Fran Bohlman Memorial Milton Open at Avalon Bowling Center Sunday by eight pins over Richard Langton of Tallahassee, Fla.

Ending an almost-two-year winless dry spell, Troup won his third PBA Regional title on the Cheetah pattern, the same pattern used when he last won in November 2010. He clinched the title with a 237-179 win over amateur Wesley Newman of Panama City, Fla., in his position round match.

Langton earned $1,100 as the runner-up while Newman earned $900 for third prize.
