The Robert Morris-Illinois men’s team captured its seventh tournament title of the season while Wichita State took home the women’s title at the National Collegiate Team Match Games tournament, a Tier I event held Nov. 23-24 at St. Clair Bowl and Bel-Air Bowl in Fairview Heights, Ill.

The Robert Morris men’s team posted an 11,426 pinfall total to top Wichita State (11,325) and Lindenwood (11,315) to win the tournament for the second consecutive year. Webber International (11,236) was fourth and Davenport (11,190) claimed fifth.
 
Robert Morris sophomore Cameron Weir averaged 231 over six games to claim the men’s individual title for the second consecutive year. Morehead’s Mike Conn was second with a 1,320 pinfall total followed by three Purdue players – Zach Dohner (1,314), Jacob Wright (1,309) and Robbie Tumm (1,303).

The Wichita State women had an 11,385 pinfall total to edge Webber International (11,328) by 57 pins. Robert Morris-Illinois (11,155) was third, McKendree (10,727) was fourth and defending champion Lindenwood (10,500) took fifth.

Robert Morris and Wichita State bowlers took the top five spots individually. Alejandra Mora of Robert Morris led the competition with a 1,303 pinfall total (271 average) while teammate Caitlin Hofmann (1,271) was fourth. Wichita State’s Tannya Roumimper (1,286) was second, Dasha Kovalova (1,278) was third and Brianna Amidon (1,268) was fifth.
