USBC Convention starts Wednesday

ARLINGTON, Texas - The United States Bowling Congress will kick off its seventh annual convention Wednesday morning at the Sheraton Hotel and the Arlington Convention Center.
During the three-day convention, delegates will have the opportunity to attend numerous workshops on Wednesday and Thursday before the Annual Meeting starts on Thursday afternoon. Included among the workshops is a Meet The Candidates session where delegates can hear from the candidates running for the four open positions on the USBC Board of Directors.
The USBC Annual Meeting starts Thursday afternoon with several awards presentations, including the Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL) award presentation and Susan G. Komen Meet for the Cure. The USBC Hall of Fame will host a dinner and induct its 2012 class on Thursday evening at the Sheraton.
On Friday, delegates will select four members for the USBC Board of Directors and also will vote on several legislative proposals.
