USBC expands field for 2019 Masters

ARLINGTON, Texas – The United States Bowling Congress will increase the capacity of the 2019 USBC Masters field to accommodate additional entries.
The 2019 USBC Masters will take place March 26 though April 1 at the Gold Coast Bowling Center in Las Vegas.
The stepladder finals of the event will be televised live on Monday, April 1, at 9 p.m. (Eastern) on FOX Sports 1 as part of the Go Bowling! Professional Bowlers Association Tour television schedule.
On Feb. 22, the Masters reached its capacity of 396 bowlers, selling out the event for the seventh consecutive year. With more than 50 competitors on the waiting list, USBC made the decision to increase the size of the field to accommodate additional entries.
The registration portal at BOWL.com/Masters will reopen Friday at 6 p.m. (Eastern).
In order to expand the field, the Masters will place five bowlers on a pair for qualifying and has adjusted squad times accordingly. The 2018 USBC Masters and 2019 USBC Team USA Trials also were conducted with five bowlers on a pair in order to accommodate increased demand.
