READING, Pa. - Vanderbilt took the lead after the opening day at the 2011 Kutztown Invitational, one of the largest regular season NCAA Women's Bowling events, on Friday at Hiester Lanes.

Vanderbilt totaled 5,232, while Maryland Eastern Shore sits in second place with 5,118. Defending NCAA champions Fairleigh Dickinson is third with 4,878 and Delaware State sits in fourth with 4,832.
