Waliczek captures PBA Central Region title

COLDWATER, Ohio (Aug. 21, 2011) –
Brian Waliczek of Birch Run, Mich. defeated Patrick Dombrowski of Parma, Ohio, 189-132, to win the Professional Bowlers Association Central Region’s 4th Annual Lefeld Implement Classic at Pla-Mor Lanes Sunday.

The title was Waliczek’s first of the year in the PBA Central Region and the seventh PBA Regional title of his career. He earned $4,000 along with his title. Waliczek won the inaugural event in 2008.

Dombrowski defeated Eugene McCune of Munster, Ind., 198-177, to advance to the championship match. In the first stepladder match, McCune edged Rhino Page of Dade City, Fla., 194-193.

Dombrowski earned $2,500 for second place, McCune won $ 1,800 for third and Page $1,500 for fourth.
