The renovation of AMF White Plains Lanes into a new Bowlmor-branded facility is expected to be completed this month, according to Westfair Online (http://westfaironline.com/69382/white-plains-bowling-alley-undergoes-redesign/).

The 56-lane center in Westchester County, N.Y., just north of New York City, will feature a redesigned interior including three bars serving signature cocktails, and a full kitchen with a menu created by Ed Porter, a winner on the Food Network program, “Guy’s Grocery Games.”

The remodeled facility, however, will not include a pro shop, according to Rich Jacobson, who operated the Great Balls of Fire shop at White Plains Lanes and then AMF White Plains Lanes since 1989.
