Youth jersey for 2013-2014 unveiled

ARLINGTON, Texas - The popular United States Bowling Congress Youth jersey will have a new design for the 2013-2014 season.

The USBC Youth jersey is one of the benefits for USBC Youth Standard members. Youth bowlers who purchase their membership through leagues that begin on or after August 1, 2013, will receive the latest jersey design.

2013YouthJerseyUSBC started the jersey program as part of USBC Youth Standard membership at the start of the 2009-10 season and this season's jersey is the fourth design. USBC Youth members helped select the style by taking part in a survey that featured several design options.

The athletic jersey for 2013-2014 is predominately black and white with red accents. The jersey again will have a professional look with the inclusion of the logos of Storm and Ebonite, two of bowling's top ball brands, on the sleeves.

"For kids who take part in any sport, getting a jersey is always exciting," said International Bowling Campus Managing Director of Youth Development Chad Murphy. "Check out any Saturday morning youth league and you will see just how popular the jerseys have become."

Adult Leaders and others will be able to purchase their jerseys through USBCBowlingStore.com later this year. The jerseys will have an open design on the back so they can be personalized by leagues and individuals.
