The USBC Board of Directors elected three-time Team USA member Andrew Cain of Phoenix as president of USBC for the remainder of the current term, which ends July 31, 2012. Cain, 30, takes over for Jim Sturm, who stepped down earlier this month.

With the new Grand rings being available via National Data Changes in WinLABs version 10.0.6, USBC will be expiring all awards that are no longer currently available for the 2011-2012 season, including Imperial Rings. It is critical for any association to update their WinLABs to version 10.0.6 so they will be able to process 300 and 800 honor score awards.

The New York State USBC Association has announced it will partner with the Youth Education Services (YES) Fund to provide grants to schools in New York.
