2026 intercollegiate championships venue set; sectional host sites determined for 2026 and 2027
September 23, 2025
ARLINGTON, Texas – No matter where they come from or what program they represent, every United States Bowling Congress Collegiate bowler hopes to perform well at sectionals each year in order to earn the opportunity to compete for national titles at the season-ending Intercollegiate Team Championships and Intercollegiate Singles Championships.
Now, the athletes who will compete in USBC Collegiate competition during the next two seasons know where the road to glory may take them as a national finals venue has been determined for 2026 and sectional sites have been locked in for 2026 and 2027.
The 2026 Intercollegiate Team Championships and Intercollegiate Singles Championships will be contested at The Ashwaubenon Bowling Alley in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from April 13-18, 2026.
Ashwaubenon is certainly no stranger to top-flite bowling action as the famed center has hosted regional and national events on both the Professional Bowlers Association and Professional Women’s Bowling Association Tours as well as elite amateur tournaments such as the Junior Gold Championships.
In order to reach the national finals in Green Bay, USBC Collegiate bowlers and teams will have to be at their best during sectional competition, which will take place at four sites across the country on March 13-15 in 2026 and March 12-14 in 2027.
Three of those four sites will be familiar as Cityview Lanes in Fort Worth, Texas, Smyrna Bowling Center in Smyrna, Tennessee, and Stardust Bowl in Addison, Illinois, all have been sectional hosts multiple times, including each of the last two seasons.
The fourth site will be new, however, as Mount Lebanon Lanes in Pittsburgh will host USBC Collegiate sectional competition for the first time in 2026 before welcoming postseason action again in 2027.
The four sectional host sites for 2026 and 2027 were determined after a new contract was agreed upon between USBC Collegiate and representatives from each of the four venues.
