NBS renovations highlight new Reno deal
The National Bowling Stadium in Reno, Nev., will undergo a multi-million dollar renovation and upgrade as part of new agreement between USBC, Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority and the city of Reno. RSCVA projects up to $15 million in upgrades to the NBS.

Earl Anthony scholarships announced
USBC has selected five youth bowlers to receive the Earl Anthony Memorial Scholarship in recognition of their academic achievement and community involvement.

For the 2012-13 season, USBC will be changing the 11-in-a-row trophy. The new trophy is laser-engraved inside crystal and clear in the back. The dimensions are 6" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" and will include a commemorative box. Any 11-in-a-row bowled starting August 1, 2012 will be eligible for the new award.

Associations and IRS compliance
USBC National is taking necessary steps to revoke the charter from local USBC associations for failing to file required forms with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). These associations have lost tax-exempt status causing USBC to revoke their charters.
