The McKendree Baker Challenge tournament consisted of 40 Baker games over two days, and all scores were scratch with no bonus pins. After 40 Baker games, the field was cut to the top eight for a best-of-three Baker format elimination bracket.

Lindenwood-Chameleon was third with (8,331), leaving Lindenwood-Shark (8,269) and Erie (8,244) to collect fourth and fifth, respectively.

Vanderbilt claimed its fourth consecutive Hawk Classic victory after defeating Fairleigh Dickinson 4-1 in the best-of-seven Baker finals. Vanderbilt, which earned the top seed in the bracket by finishing with 9,432 during qualifying, earned a bye into the finals after beating Fairleigh in the first round 4-2.
